When Thor was young, Loki was even younger and the two of them would spend all their days together, adventuring around the palace, creating mischief. But then Thor grew older - old enough to start training, start to learn of his duties as future king of Asgard. So their days changed. Little Loki was left behind every morning when Thor went for his lessons, and little Loki hated being alone. He would throw a temper tantrum fit for the gods, and cry and cry and cry. So Frigga made Loki a Thor Bear, gave it to him with a kiss and said now your big brother will be with you always.
And Loki loved Thor Bear, took him everywhere until he became ragged at the edges and Frigga had to re-sew his left eye back on.
